Leerdoelen	1. Form a critical appraisal of the research conducted in the field of Management Control. 2. Review relevant management control literature. 3. Adopt an interdisciplinary approach in doing research. 4. Make recommendations on the basis of the research findings. 5. Present and discuss the research papers.
Omschrijving	The course aims to deepen students understanding of how management control is used in organizations. The course will help them to develop an overview of the dominant themes, research methods and theories in management control.

Onderwijsvorm	-gastcollege ,  -groepsbegeleiding ,  -hoorcollege , gecombineerde hoor-/werkcolleges (Lectures and combined lectures/tutorials)
Toetsvorm	-groepspresentatie,  -schriftelijk tentamen (open vragen) (Group presentations, written individual exam. Students who do not pass the course during the academic year have to redo the complete course in a later year, including the presentations.)
