Omschrijving | Organizations are highly affected by the changes induced by technologies and core technological processes, such as those related to digital transformation. The outcome of a technology-induced organizational change is the product of the interaction between organizational adoption or resistance and usage of the technology and managerial strategy and governance for the technology. This compulsory course of the MSc BA Change Management program focuses on understanding this multi-level phenomenon and discusses insights from relevant literature on technology-induced changes and their management. During the course, we will first introduce a general perspective on technological change and management of technological change in organizations; subsequently, emphasis will be placed on understanding adoption, post-adoption, strategy and governance perspectives of technology and the corresponding changes in organizations. | ||||||||||||
