Leerdoelen At the end of the course, the student is able to:

1. Describe basic physical processes governing galaxy formation and evolution.
2. Solve basic analytical problems related to the Physics of Galaxies.
3. Solve basic numerical problems related to the Physics of Galaxies.
4. Select the different methodologies to study nearby galaxies and galaxies at high redshifts.
