Leerdoelen | At the end of the course, the student: - knows how they can apply theoretical knowledge from Cognitive Engineering to a real problem/case - knows what interaction design is, and how to conceptualise interaction - knows when what type of interfaces exist and know how to choose the most appropriate one - knows how to gather necessary data for a requirements analysis - knows how to present data on an interface - knows how to gather requirements - knows how to design a prototype - knows how to construct a prototype - knows how to evaluate a prototype in different settings - knows how to test an interface's usability |

Omschrijving | In this course students will work on a real Cognitive Engineering problem. They will be presented with a use case and perform the whole process of designing a system, from requirements analysis to constructing and evaluating a prototype system. In the weekly tutorials the necessary knowledge will be discussed and in the practical sessions, students will then work together in small groups to build a real prototype that has to be pitched at the end of the course to the relevant stake holders. |
