Omschrijving | In the course Computed Tomography student will gain insight in the main components of different CT systems, image formation, and the influence of acquisition and reconstruction parameters on image quality and scan protocols for different clinical applications. In addition, the student will learn on radiation dose in CT, different dose saving strategies, and the different radiation dose indices provided on CT scanners and their significance. The translation of the technical parameters on CT and their influence on the diagnosis of patients will be enlightened by different radiologist medical doctors and experts in their respective fields: thorax, cardiovascular, abdomen, intervention, neuro, and musculoskeletal CT imaging. | ||||||||||||
