Leerdoelen	The student has knowledge and insight on recent developments in the field of pharmaceutical technology and innovative therapeutic strategies. The student has detailed knowledge on current approaches for the stabilization of proteins and the administration lipophilic drugs, powder technology in pharmacy, pulmonary delivery of drugs as well as strategies for personalized medicine.
Omschrijving	The content of the course consists of the following topics: Proteins (stabilization) Lipophilic drugs (strategies to improve bioavailability) Powder technology Inhalation Personalized medicine

Onderwijsvorm	Hoorcollege (LC), Opdracht (ASM) (Lectures (3 hours a day for 8 days). Journal Club (three meetings with mentor))
Toetsvorm	Opdracht (AST), Schriftelijk tentamen (WE) (One oral presentation (Journal Club). Exam with open questions. Students should pass both subjects. Grading: Journal Club / Exam = 1/2.)
