Omschrijving | In this course, we will build on the basic knowledge of toxicology that students have acquired in the second year course on ‘Metabolism and Toxicology’. Interactions of drugs with various systems in the human body will be discussed, with particular focus on toxicological effects drugs may have in these systems. With the arrival of advanced strategies for drug delivery, evaluation of changes in drug toxicity profiles and drug safety are essential. As such, novel and traditional toxicity testing methods and models will be discussed and compared. | ||||||||
