Omschrijving | Business processes represent the `vehicle' through which an organization delivers its products and/or services in accordance with customers' expectations. Business process management (BPM) involves the (re)configuration of activities within an organization towards achieving the corporate strategy. Business processes and their performance are thus subjected to constant evaluation and scrutiny. The (re)design of business processes, based on the data available, and through the enhancement of supporting ICT and human infrastructures, therefore reflects a core competency for an organization to maintain sustainable competitive advantages in the marketplace. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
