| Leerdoelen | Upon completion of the course, students are able to: 1. Formulate a research question about relationships between a large set of variables 2. Create an econometric model that can lead to the answer of the research question 3. Analyse multivariate data on the basis of the properties of the data using the most appropriate technique 4. Perform model parameter estimation and testing with SPSS 5. Interpret the results of parameter estimation and testing by SPSS to answer the research question, and make recommendations. |

| Omschrijving | The purpose of this course is to introduce students to advanced statistical techniques for the analysis of data in business applications. The course provides students with a background in multivariate statistics that will enable them to apply statistical techniques in real world problems where several variables and their interrelations are important. Several multivariate techniques will be taught: nonparametric tests, multiple regression analysis, ANOVA and time series analysis. | ||||||||||||||||||||
