Photo report Pint of Science

13 June 2019

An interesting lecture in your own local pub, which lasts about one beer long. That was the scientific pub crawl, called the Pint of Science. Last Tuesday, 15 Study associations were organizing short lectures in different pubs in the city centre of Groningen.

One of the visitors was Rector Magnificus Elmer Sterken, who received an own beer mug. After 8 years, Sterken will be stepping down and on Friday 14 June 2019, Sterken will formally bid farewell as Rector Magnificus in the Martinikerk.

Were you unable to visit Pint of Science or do you want to relive the scientific pub crawl? Get an impression of the Pint of Science in the photos below.
