Good news: NVAO accreditation for our executive MBA and Master of M&A and Valuation!

17 May 2018

The Executive Master of Business Administration and the Executive Master of M&A and Valuation have just received good news. Both these master programmes, offered by the University of Groningen Business School, have been accredited by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO).

The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and the Executive Master of M&A and Valuation (EMMAV) were already equipped with AACSB and EQUIS quality marks, provided that the accreditations for the Faculty of Economics and Business were renewed last year. Now that NVAO can be added to the list, the high quality of our executive programmes is additionally acknowledged.

Executive MBA for food professionals
Start: 6 September 2018 in Baarn

Food professionals will surely not be ‘eating their heart out’ with the three-year MBA programme, offered in cooperation with the EFMI Business School. With the multitude of ongoing dynamics in the food sector, the programme aims to provide a clear vision and deliver effective strategies for tackling the current challenges the food sector is facing. Theory and practice will be bridged through applying both scientifically grounded and practically endorsed theories and methods when determining the steps that need to be taken for creating future success. Upon completion of the programme, participants will receive the MSc title.

“The many strengths of our program have been confirmed during the accreditation procedure. We offer a relevant mix of theory and practice. Both speakers from the field and professors from the RUG contribute to this program. In addition, a study trip to New York and an individual coaching program form part of the Executive MBA. I am sure that all participants in this program will look back upon a unique experience that provide the alumni with the required knowledge and tools to exploit the many opportunities that exist in the retail sector.”
