KVI-CART contributes to proton therapy research in HORIZON2020 IA INSPIRE
On 1 March 2018 the Integrating Activity INSPIRE (INfraStructure in Proton International REsearch, funded by the EU-HORIZON2020 with a total of 5 million Euro, will take off. In INSPIRE KVI-CART collaborates with fourteen proton therapy centers all over Europe and two major manufacturers of proton therapy equipment on research to further improve proton therapy.
In the framework of INSPIRE KVI-CART will provide TransNational Access for experiments at the AGOR-accelerator facility, perform research on reference dosimetry for pencil beam scanning dose delivery in protontherapy and contribute to radiobiological research.
