Prof. Dr. Pablo Valdivia, Chair of European Culture and Literature, has recently been awarded the prestigious CONICYT grant funded by the Government of Chile for carrying out an international PhD project in the fields of Communication and Literary studies. The project will be supervised by himself and Dr. Konstantin Mierau and it will comprise among others of funding for a PhD student, Juan del Valle MA, the organization of academic events and joint publications. This is a further concrete development initiated by the strategic international agreement signed between the Faculty of Arts and University of La Frontera (UFRO, Chile).
