December campaign Eric Bleumink Fund
The December campaign for Eric Bleumink Fund (EBF) has become a tradition. Since its creation in 2000, more than 60 young, ambitious and highly talented students from the poorest countries received an EBF scholarship to study at the University of Groningen. The annual campaign starts on Monday the 28th of November with a telephone fundraising campaign to the alumni of the University and this will run until the 16th of December. In addition, on the 9th of December, the alumni magazine Broerstraat 5, with an enclosed payment slip which can be used to support the Fund, will go through the letterbox of our alumni. The employees of the University of Groningen and the UMCG can also contribute by donating their Christmas gift to the EBF. Finally, it is possible to support talented students from developing countries through the crowdfunding website, www.rugsteunt.nl. In 2015, the overall result was for the EBF was € 131,123. We hope to exceed this amount! For more information about the EBF and the students >>
