CEASG-member and International Relations lecturer Susanne Kamerling has been appointed as Visiting Fellow at the Indian Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Dehli. At IDSA she will be engaged in research on China’s changing security conception and views on security governance. Also she will conduct interviews within the Indian strategic community in the context of her PhD project.
In her PhD project Susanne focuses on the role conception and role performance of China and India in international security issues since the end of the Cold War. As part of this research she was Visiting Fellow at Tsinghua University (CEASG partner) in Beijing, China in 2015.
The Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses is a non-partisan, autonomous inisitute that conducts studies and research on problems of national security and the impact of defence measures on the economic, security and social life of the country.
