RUG-pass must be shown on entering the University Library

From Monday 19 January through Sunday 1 February, strict rules apply for entering the University Library: in this period, the library is only accessible for University of Groningen students and staff.

At the entrance of the University Library, you will be asked to show your RUG-pass.

  • So entering the library, always have your RUG-pass ready!
  • No RUG-pass means no entry!
  • When in doubt, our staff may ask for an ID.
  • Note: University of Groningen Medical Centre staff have access tot the library when they show their UMCG-pass.
