Proton therapy research funded by technology agency STW
The Dutch funding agency for technology research has decided to support a project of researchers of KVI-CART and UMCG Radiation Oncology with a grant of €144.000,-. The researchers will in the coming two years develop and test an instrument for a fast and accurate measurement of the radiation dose distribution in proton therapy. The instrument is based on a new measurement technique that the researchers recently developed.
