Minor Centers team obtains grant from Gratama Stichting

20 June 2014

Gijs Tol & Tymon de Haas have obtained a grant of € 15.980 from the Gratama Stichting. With this grant, they will investigate the state of preservation of archaeological remains at the site of Forum Appii ( Pontine Region, Central Italy) through field survey and geophysical prospections. The investigations are intended to form a basis for sustainable and targeted management of the site’s remains, which are subject to continuous degradation caused by intensive agriculture and construction works.
