NSV Dissertatie Prijs 2013 for Tobias Stark

Tobias Stark (RUG, ICS year group 2006) has been awarded with the NSV Dissertatie Prijs 2013 for his dissertation "Integration in Schools. A Process Perspective on Students' Interethnic Attitudes and Interpersonal Relationships". The NSV Dissertatie Prijs 2013 is awarded by the NSV (Dutch Sociological Association) every two years for the best dissertation from a Dutch university in the last two years.

In 2012 Tobias Stark’s dissertation was awarded by the Erasmus Prize Foundation with a Research Prize for exceptional PhD dissertations in the humanities and social sciences.

Tobias Stark took his PhD on 8 September 2011 from the University of Groningen (cum laude), where he was PhD student and postdoc of the ICS at the Department of Sociology. His promotores are Andreas Flache, René Veenstra and Roel Bosker. Currently, Tobias works as postdoc at Stanford University on basis of a Marie Curie International Outgoing Fellowship .
