George Darwin Lectureship for Prof. Tolstoy
The prestigious Royal Astronomical Society has awarded the George Darwin Lectureship for 2013 to Prof. Eline Tolstoy of the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute , Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, for her outstanding work in the field of galactic archaeology. The lecture will be delivered at the RAS Meeting of 8 November 2013 at the Geological Society in Burlington House, Piccadilly, London. George Darwin Lecture is given annually by a distinguished and eloquent speaker on a suitable topic in astronomy including astrochemistry, astrobiology, astroparticle physics.
