Testing with QMP: a success so far

29 July 2013

Recently, the University has started administering tests with Questionmark Perception (QMP), which offers numerous benefits compared to regular tests in Nestor. For example, QMP allows all tests and item banks to be managed centrally. During the month of July, more than ten QMP tests were administered. These tests were all part of programs in the Faculty of Medical Sciences. No major problems were reported, except for some minor usability issues: students have to perform quite a few actions before they can start or stop a test. We expect these issues to be ironed out in the near future, as we gain more experience with Questionmark Perception.

During testing, student assistants from Nestorsupport, as well as CBT staff were present to monitor each test carefully, in case any (technical) problems arose. Overall, QMP seems to be a decent testing platform so far.
