Spinoza prize for Bart van Wees

On Friday June 10, 2016 the Spinoza prizes, the highest awards in Dutch science, for 2016 were announced by NWO. We were extremely proud and excited to hear that Bart is one of the winners for this year! The official award ceremony will take place on September 13, in the Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague. More information about the prize itself can be found here, and also in the official announcement of this years' winners.

Naturally, this triggered a storm of media attention for Bart, with lots of interviews and articles appearing in Dutch media. Here is a selection of them:
