Leonieke Boendermaker appointed as a member of the Commission Rouvoet
Dr. Leonieke Boendermaker, senior researcher at the Department of Orthopedagogy / Youth Care and lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences of Amsterdam, has recently been appointed as a member of the Commission Rouvoet.
This five-member committee was formed in continuation of the Commission Samson, which investigated the sexual abuse of children in youth care. The Committee Rouvoet - Andre Rouvoet was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Youth and Families - is developing a 'Quality Framework Preventing Sexual Abuse' and will monitor its implementation.
