FEBlog: European recession redirects brain drain from north to south

The Portuguese economy shrinks while the economy of it's former colony Mozambique grows. Portuguese professionals migrate to seek work and the roles seem reversed. The local population speaks about 'stealing jobs'. According to professor of financial ethics Boudewijn de Bruin of the FEB there is an obvious threat to Mozambique: if the recession is over, the professionals will remigrate to Portugal.
