In the lecture series "Leadership Panel", organized by students of the study association EBF of the Faculty of Economics and Business, prominent people from politics or businesses talk about leadership issues. Roger Dassen, Global Managing Director of Deloitte will give a lecture on Wednesday 21 March (3pm).

What makes you a good leader? Which choices will you face when you make a career, and what do you choose then? In EBF’s Leadership Panel, prominent people from Dutch politics or businesses talk about these issues. Throughout his career Roger Dassen experienced many interesting adventures and challenges which he will elaborate on during his lecture and he will engage in a debate with the attending staff and students.

EBF hosts the Leadership Panel about three or four times a year. In 2011 guests were Alexander Pechtold (Parliamentary Group Leader D66), Dick Berlijn (former Chief of Defense Staff) and Mark McKeon (CEO of V&D).

“The Leadership Panel is a valuable supplement to the regular study programme,” says Sandra Reiners, member of the EBF Speakers Committee. “Leading individuals with a political or business background lecture on leadership, they tell the audience which choices they made that got them to where they were. You can’t learn everything from books, that’s why the Panel is such a contribution.”

Location of the lecture: Bernouilliborg Lecture Hall.
