Workshop Publication Strategy and Open Access

On November 24, the Library and the Graduate School organize a Workshop Publication Strategy and Open Access at the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences. This workshop aims to raise awareness of citation impact and open access.

At this moment, the Open Access phenomenon is at its starting point. It is an important development however, and sooner or later researchers will have to make decisions in the publishing process taking this development into account.

Graduate School Director Nico van Yperen and the University Library expert on Open Access issues Esther Hoorn will introduce the audience to these topics. A hands-on session will be held in which participants can explore some of the current possibilities.
