From Wednesday 28th to Saturday 31st October, the 37th edition of the European Cyclotron Progress Meeting (ECPM) was held in the Hampshire Hotel Plaza Groningen. The meeting started with a one day educational session in which 46 people attended lectures on various aspects of cyclotron design.
Starting Thursday, 86 participants from 14 European countries (and Canada) attended the workshop at which 29 talks and 18 poster contributions were presented. The agenda contained a variety of topics concerning cyclotrons, such as: beam dynamics, technical design, future developments in research, as well as applications in hadron therapy, industry and medicine.
