Genetic and environmental determinants of lung function in the general population
The major purpose of this thesis was to identify and describe genetic variations affecting the level and over-time course of lung function in the general population. Majority of studies described in the thesis was performed in two prospective, general population-based cohorts (Doetinchem and Vlagtwedde-Vlaardingen).
