Groningen University Fund awards for best students
There were happy faces all round when the Groningen University Fund Education Prizes were being awarded during the opening ceremony of the academic year. Nine students in total – one from each faculty – were awarded prizes, consisting of EUR 2500. Laurie Reijnders, student of Economics and Econometrics, was announced the overall winner and received twice this amount. In addition, she also works as a student assistant, is a member of the Faculty Council and she is involved in the organization of activities within the framework of the Honours Path.
