In this thesis is the usefulness of computed tomography for the assessment of aortic valve sclerosis and coronary artery disease in day-to-day practice evaluated. In patients suspected for the presence of aortic valve sclerosis or coronary artery disease, is computed tomography with and without the use of contrast agent compared, with conventional diagnostic devices to assess its applicability in the diagnostic process.
