Prestigious Keetje Hodshon Prize for Groningen theologian Popović

The Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities has awarded Dr Mladen Popović (31), Acting Director of the Qumran Institute of the University of Groningen, the Keetje Hodshon Prize 2008. Dr. Popović receives the prize, a medal and € 12.000, for his dissertation cum laude, Reading the Human Body: Physiognomics and Astrology in the Dead Sea Scrolls and Hellenistic–Early Roman Period Judaism.
