University of Groningen signs Memorandum of Understanding with Wuhan University

The Vice President of Wuhan University, Professor Huang Jin, and the Rector Magnificus of the University of Groningen, Professor Frans Zwarts signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 14 December 2007.

Wuhan University is one of the best universities in China. It is a comprehensive university and covers disciplines of philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, sciences, engineering, agriculture, medicine and management.

The  University has 45000 students and 5000 academic staff members.

Wuhan University is the first partner university for the University of Groningen in the western part of China. University of Groningen has 3 partner universities in mainland china: namely Beijing University, Tsinghua University and Fudan University. Wuhan University will become the fourth partner university of University of Groningen in China.
