FOM 'Projectruimte' project for research at AUGER

The application in the FOM ‘Projectruimte’ of Ad van den Berg (KVI), Heino Falcke (Radboud University Nijmegen / ASTRON Dwingeloo) and Charles Timmermans (Radboud University Nijmegen / NIKHEF Amsterdam) with the title Radio detection of ultra-high energy cosmic rays at AUGER in Argentina was awarded. For this research, FOM has given funds for a four-year PhD-position (OIO), to be stationed at the KVI, and a running budget of k€ 140.
