IMIM consists of two semesters of coursework (usually semester 1 and 3) and two semesters of research internships, one leading up to a thesis
The research internship in the fourth semester may take place at one of the full IMIM partners in Europe and/or Latin America or one of the private sector partners
One of the IMIM unique features is the integrated, 20 ECTS, Learning Line “From Bench to Bedside and Back” throughout its 4-semesters
All IMIM students additionally participate in a Spring and Summer School. The Spring School is related to personal development (“soft skills”). The Summer School is dedicated to “Industrial Perspectives on Innovative Medicine”, a non-academic view on translational medicine.
IMIM has a strong connection with the private sector, including the official participation of associated private partners
