Showcase your research (personal research page)

All your research related information (research output, activities, press/media, prizes and the metadata of datasets) is presented at the University of Groningen research database and your personal research page.

For every University of Groningen employees involved with research there is a personal research page available on the University of Groningen website.

You can access this page by clicking the research tab on your personal profile page, or by clicking your name somewhere in the University of Groningen research portal . The URL for a personal research page is always<yourname>/research.

Personal research page

By default a selection of different data (if available in Pure) is presented on your personal research page:

  • Publications
  • Activities
  • Datasets (metadata)
  • Prizes
  • Press/Media

If you are or have been affiliated to current SEP research unit(s), these will be shown as well. Other affiliations, such as affiliations to non-SEP or former SEP research units are not shown on your personal research page.

You have the opportunity to personalize your research page through Pure. For example, you can make a selection of your most outstanding work to present on the 'Overview' tab of your personal research page.

Contact information & photo

If you wish to edit the contact information or photo on your personal research page, click the 'Edit' button on your personal profile on the University of Groningen website.

Name variants

For optimal search results and presentation, Pure uses several variants of your name. In Pure you can edit your 'default publishing name'. This is the name which Pure shows with all your newly entered research content (except when overruled manually). Learn more about how to maintain your name variants.
