The UB is honored to be sponsoring these reputable publishing platforms that are fully dedicated to advancing open access and experimenting with new models for scholarly publishing.
SciPost is a nonprofit scholarly-led open access publication portal. It started out as a publication platform in the field of physics but is now expanding to all STEM disciplines.
SciPost is managed by scientists and offers fully professional publishing facilities. It promotes the use of innovative open forms of refereeing and does not charge any subscription fees or article processing charges (APCs). Its financing model relies on sponsorship from organizations (universities, funding agencies, foundations and individuals).
Punctum books is a nonprofit open-access book publisher in the humanities. It does not charge Book Processing Charges (BPCs) and is funded via a library partnership subsidy model, subscriptions and individual donations.
