Services during the opening week of the University Library City Centre, 29 May - 2 June

Monday 29 May through Friday 2 June, the University Library City Centre celebrates its reopening after years of renovation. During the week there are several activities for students, staff and the general public. Climax of the week is the Open Day on Friday 2 June, on which everybody is welcome.

Our services remain unaltered during this week, with some minor exceptions:

Limited services

Monday 29 May
  • 1 - 5 am: 4th floor closed (except for the Documentation Centre for Dutch Political Parties)
  • 3.30 - 5 pm: no materials from the Special Collections vault can be consulted.
Tuesday 30 May
  • 3 - 6 pm: noise on the ground floor and in the stairwell due to the offical reopening and drinks after.
  • 3 - 5 pm: no materials from the Special Collections vault can be consulted.
Wednesday 31 May
  • Unaltered service
Thursday 1 June
  • 1 - 5 am: 4th floor closed (except for the Documentation Centre for Dutch Political Parties)
Friday 2 June
  • 8.30 am - 5.30 pm: Open Day! Various activities and tours around the building
  • 8.30 am - 5 pm: Special Collections reading room open all day to view materials from the vault. No regular services.
