Automatic lecture recording

A number of rooms contain equipment for recording lectures or guest lectures. With a few exceptions, such lectures are always recorded automatically. This means that there is no on site support. Recording starts and stops automatically and the lecturer is filmed using a tracking camera. The lecturer can pick up a microphone for the recording from the Porter’s Desk at the relevant location (this is the same microphone as the one used to amplify sound in the classroom).   A separate page is devoted to lecture recording.
