EU-VIP

EU-VIP (Enterprise-Universities Virtual Internship Placements) was started at the end of 2009. The goal of this project, which is carried out as part of the Life Long Learning Programme of the European Commission, is to improve the support of international placements by the use of new technologies.

Both “regular” international placements and virtual placements (students take the placement “at home” under the supervision of an international company) are part of this project. The Office for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Arts takes part in EU-VIP, together with ICTOL, but only for regular placements. The Faculty of Arts does not offer virtual placements.

EU-VIP is co-ordinated by AV-Net of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. The project will run for 2 years and is closely related to INTERN, a project of the University of Groningen in which the Office for Student Affairs, ICTOL, Euroculture, NOHA and Journalism take part.
