Studyload:40 hours (around 4 hours each week).

Course Description

The goal of this course is to improve writing skills in terms of text structure, style, vocabulary, grammar and spelling. You will send your texts, about 5 or 6 pages in total, to the teacher, Margaret van der Kamp. She will then determine whether your writing level matches the level of the course. If this is the case, a list of 10 focal points will be made on the basis of the submitted texts and a plan for a 10-week course will be drawn up.

Each week, you will be sent an e-mail containing exercises and a writing assignment specifically aimed at practising the focal point for that week. A timetable will be drawn up specifying when exercises and assignments should be sent by the teacher and returned by you. You should count on a study load of around 4 hours per week. At the end of the course, you will be asked to write a long text (4 or 5 pages) which the teacher will correct, with special attention paid to the focal points. Upon completion of the course, you will have attained CEFR level C1.

The teacher will inform the secretariat that you want to register for the course, after which one of our secretaries will contact you.
