Your Level > Office Hour

If you are a UG student or staff member, admission to this course is subject to either a recommendation obtained in an office hour or completion of a previous course. You will always be granted access to an intensive summer course at the recommended level.

If you are not affiliated with the UG, you will always have to attend an office hour or be able to prove that you have completed a previous course. In addition, your level recommendation must specifically state that you are admissible to an intensive course.

The University of Groningen partly or wholly pays for these courses for international students, PhDs' and postdocs.Please note that youneed to follow a different registration procedure.

Schedule and registration

These courses will be taught as an online interactive group course via Blackboard Collaborate; our online classroom for the coming period! One lesson lasts 90 minutes. Per lesson you should count on 2-3 hours of self-study. Read here everything you can expect from an online language course.

The course material is compulsory and must be purchased by the student. The book is available at our office during opening hours, check here if and when the desk is open. When purchasing a regular book online, pay attention to the delivery time to ensure that you receive the book on time. You can also often buy the regular book directly from your local bookstore.
