STAP budget

For your training course at the Language Centre

We would like to let you know that the training courses at the Language Centre are eligible for the STAP budget. The government introduced this budget on 1 March 2022. It is a new training reimbursement scheme that can compensate up to maximum of €1,000 per year per individual. All of our training courses are Cedeo certified, which means that you can use the STAP budget for one of our language or culture training courses.

For now, the infrastructure for implementing the STAP budget for Cedeo-certified programmes is still being developed. Unfortunately, we are not able to control this ourselves, and we have to be patient. As soon as everything is ready for use, we will immediately let you know via our website and in the newsletters.

STAP

Reimbursement from the government
The STAP budget is a new training reimbursement scheme which stands for Stimulering van de ArbeidsmarktPositie (stimulation of the labour market position). By using this budget you will be able to improve your position in the labour market. You can apply for a maximum reimbursement of €1,000 per year for training costs. This reimbursement acts as a replacement for the income tax deduction for study costs. You can find more information about the STAP budget here.
