Ruben Comadina Granson
- Head of the Modern Foreign Languages Section
- Lecturer in English and Spanish
I have worked at the Language Centre since 1995. Having lived and studied both English and Spanish in the Americas, I am fully aware of the importance of language learning and cultural competency to bridge barriers in today’s global society.
Involved in the development and provision of communicative language courses in international programmes in higher education as well as in the public and private sectors, I have developed extensive experience in designing blended-learning courses, organising learner-centred, multi-level group work and creating intercultural awareness among participants.
I have also been engaged in several international projects on behalf of the Language Centre, notably a four-year project aiming to improve the level of English language provision for staff at the Universidade Católica de Moçambique.
In addition to my role as lecturer and head of department, I have delivered papers and presentations at a wide variety of symposia and conferences.
