Now 67% discount on Dutch courses for UG staff

Hurray! HR and the Language Centre received a €48,000 grant* on 1 December 2020 for international UG staff members who want to learn Dutch! With this sum, we will be able to offer over 60 colleagues a fantastic present: a maximum of 67% discount on a Dutch course. Are you interested? Enrol yourself or your staff members for a language course at the Language Centre! Would you rather follow a tailor-made course, an individual course or a group course with your direct colleagues? These are all possibilities. Note that availability is limited!

Conditions of the ‘Tel mee met Taal’ grant

  1. For whom: all UG staff members including postdocs.
    --> If you are a PhD student, you can join our Dutch courses for University of Groningen students, PhD' and postdocs.
  2. Which courses: various Dutch courses, including individual and group courses, up to CEFR level B1.
  3. Compensation: the grant can compensate up to of 67% of the course fee, with a maximum of €802, for each participant. The remaining fee must be paid from another budget or by the individuals themselves.
  4. Number: in order to allow as many colleagues as possible to take advantage of this opportunity, the discount is only applicable twice per person.
  5. Combining this discount with that of another scheme is not possible.

Please state that you wish to use the grant when submitting your request. You or your staff member(s) can then follow the Dutch course; the Language Centre and HR will coordinate the provision of the grant.
