|N.A. Arellano Véliz, MA||PhD student||My background is a complement between clinical and research fields. I did my undergraduate studies in Psychology with clinical specialization at the University of Talca, Chile, where I graduated with honors, being positioned in the first place of my promotion. I worked as a clinician doing psychotherapy and I trained as an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist. Later, I did my Research Master's (MSc) in Behavior and Cognition at the University of Barcelona, Spain. For this study, I obtained a full scholarship from the National Agency for Research and Development (ANID, Agencia Nacional para la Investigación y Desarrollo, Chile).
I am currently working on my Ph.D. at the University of Groningen as a scholarship student (by ANID, Chile). My main research interests are related to the fields of Embodied Cognition, Dynamic Interpersonal Synchronization, Enaction and Individual Differences through social interactions. I am particularly focused on the study of the embodied correlates of psychological constructs as Personality and Depression, and their expression through Interpersonal Synchronization. All these processes are supported by the Complex Systems framework. Currently, I am also part of the Mindwise editorial board.

|dr. L.S. (Laura) Cuijpers||Researcher / Lecturer||In my research, I aim to integrate psychology and movement sciences to study joint action from a dynamical systems perspective. My fascination lies in our ability to form social systems with others and the ability to explore new possibilities for action within a (social) system.

Vera Heininga is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Groningen. She draws together sociology, psychology, and psychiatry to study the biopsychosocial mechanisms that underlie emotional development.
Currently, she is involved in the Every Child Is Different project (www.iederkindisanders.nl), a large Dutch crowdsourcing study that aims to examine positive mental health and mental health problems in children and adolescents.
She is a passionate Open Science advocate, co-founder and chair of the Open Science Community Groningen (www.openscience-groningen.nl), and coordinator of Open Science at the University Groningen.
