NWA grant Sustainable Development Goals

05 July 2021

How can you increase food security by empowering women? Nina Hansen will investigate this within the interdisciplinary project Improving food and nutrition security by enhancing women's empowerment. The research will be conducted in Bangladesh and Ethiopia.

The project is one of three proposals that have been funded within the NWA program that aims to provide insight into the interaction between the various Sustainable Development Goals. The project is led by Robert Lensink (FEB). Regien Biesma-Blanco, Maarten Postma, and Jurjen van der Schans of the UMCG and Nina Hansen are co-applicants.
