Field of practice coordination Pedagogical Sciences

Within the education of Pedagogical Sciences experience with the (Ortho-) Pedagogical practice is of great importance. In addition to the internships in the Master programme students can already get acquainted with the field of practice from within during earlier phases in the programme, namely in the Bachelor.

Activities in the field of practice

In close collaboration with institutions and organizations of the field of practice activities are being organized, under the umbrella of Field of Practice Coordination (WVC) Pedagogical Sciences. These activities are in line with the (clinical) training courses from General Pedagogical Sciences, Special Education and Educational Sciences.

These activities can take place in the ambulatory and, for example, at schools, institutions or in the home situation of the client. The student can thus be introduced to and gain experience from the future professional practice, and the field of practice can benefit from the involvement of the students, and can get acquainted with talented future employees.

Assignments for co-operation with Pedagogical Sciences only come in through the field of practice. It is not possible for individuals to request diagnostic tests and treatments directly.

Honours programme aimed at a profession

In addition to the field activities in connection with the regular educational activities, we also organize activities in the field of practice for Honours students.
