Due to covid the Open Day for our BA programme in Religious Studies will be online.
Are you interested in sociology, psychology, philosophy, anthropology, history, and art? With Religious Studies you get it all! Do you want to know more? Come and visit our online Open Day!
Within the Religious Studies programme, you will examine the prominent role of religion in how we live together in our society. You will get acquainted with the five world religions and learn how cultures and religions are constructed and how they influence each other and society as a whole. Students are trained to become broadly educated social scientists, who are competent in the academic fields of anthropology, sociology, psychology, political science, ethics, and philosophy.
During the Online Open Day professor Marjo Buitelaar will give a presentation about the contents of the programme. Students Izzy Collins, Ilse van Tuinen en Sterre Stavast will share their student experiences with you. Of course there is room to ask anything you would like to know about the degree programme and studying at the University of Groningen.
NB. Do you prefer a Dutch information session? At 31 January on 2 p.m. we give an online session in Dutch. Please search in the application system for Religiewetenschappen.
