Working with your Digipass
|
Assign a Digipass to yourself
|
Before you can log in to your company's system using your Digipass, the Digipass server needs to
know that you have a Digipass, and which one you have. If you have received your Digipass, you
may have been instructed by your admin to use this site to assign the Digipass to yourself.
If you can already log in to your company's system using your Digipass
or if you will use a Virtual Digipass, you do not need to follow these steps.
To be able to assign yourself a Digipass, you must:
- have a Digipass in your possession, and
- not have it assigned to you already
|
|
Before assigning a Digipass to yourself, you need to know
which authentication method you should use.
To assign a Digipass to yourself:
Response
- Click on Digipass Assignment.
- Enter your User ID.
- Enter your password.
- Find the serial number of your Digipass (typically this is found on the back of the
Digipass itself).
- Enter the serial number.
- Use your Digipass to get a One Time Password.
- Enter the One Time Password in the Digipass Response field.
- If you need to choose a PIN, enter it in the New PIN and Confirm New PIN fields
(How do I know if I need to choose a PIN?)
- Click GO.
|
If you are having trouble assigning a Digipass, ask your admin to set your PIN. Once the PIN
is set, try again to assign your Digipass, using the PIN set by your admin.

Choosing a PIN
|
You will need to select a PIN if:
- your Digipass doesn't have a keypad, and
- you are assigning a Digipass to yourself, and
- your admin has not provided you with a preset PIN.
|
|
Your choice of PIN should be entered while assigning yourself a Digipass
|
|
Changing your PIN
|
You may need to change your PIN:
- if your PIN has been reset by admin
- if you have been asked to change it on an occasional or regular basis
- if you know or suspect that someone else knows your PIN
If your Digipass does not have a keypad, you can use the Digipass Self Service site to
change your PIN. If your Digipass does have a keypad, you must change the PIN in the Digipass
itself.

To change your PIN using the Digipass Self Service site:
- Click on PIN Change.
- Enter your User ID.
- Use your Digipass to get a One Time Password.
