Introduction

The Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) of the University of Groningen (UG) offers a wide range of Master’s degree programmes, some of which are accessible to students with a Bachelor’s degree from a related University of Applied Sciences (‘HBO’) degree programme. In almost all cases, however, you will have to follow a pre-Master’s programme or fast-track Bachelor’s programme in order to gain admission to the Master’s degree programme.

Below you can click on the MSc. programme that you are interested in. From there, you will find information about each programme and how to qualify for them. You will also find much more relevant information there, for example about the admissions procedure, an application webform and a contact form that you can use if you still have questions after you have read all the information.
